Crowds gather for Ongwediva opening

Large crowds formed outside the gates at the Ongwediva Trade Fair this week, eagerly waiting to be admitted into the showgrounds. The organisers told the Economist they expect visitor numbers to be up compared to last year. This became evident during the week as the queue at the gate grew longer every day. This year, there are 25 more exhibitors than last year. According to Jackson Mumba, attendance picked up on Thursday afternoon for the official opening ceremony. (Photograph by Jackson Mumba)

About The Author

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
