Ultimate Amarok
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles said they are introducing a special edition Amarok Ultimate which is the first bakkie in the local market with Bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights as a standard feature. Amarok Ultimate is based on the top of the range derivative, 2.0 BiTDI 132kW 4Motion Highline with 8-speed Automatic transmission.
The Bi-xenon headlights give the Amarok Ultimate not only improved lighting, but together with the two twin chrome bars on the radiator grille they give it a greatly improved visual appearance as well.
Additional exterior standard features include silver wing mirror covers, darkened rear lights with LED number plate illumination, polished 19-inch ‘Cantera’ alloy wheels, special ‘Ultimate’ lettering, a silver-coloured design underbody guard and a styling bar as well as sill sidebars in chrome.
The Amarok Ultimate also comes as standard with Park Distance Control with Rear Assist reversing camera, electric folding and heated wing mirrors, heated front seats in either Vienna or Alcantara leather, RCD 510 Radio/CD system with mobile phone preparation, rain sensor with intermittent wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror and special velour floor mats.
The optional features offered with the Amarok Ultimate are the RNS 510 Radio/Navigation system with 6-speakers and electrical interface for external use. The Ultimate retails for above N$600,000.
