Namibian author and entrepreneur encourages youth to take charge of their destinies with newly published book

By Michel Haoses.

Recognising the challenges faced by the youth due to lack of knowledge and mentorship in the fields they aspire to venture and grow in, Janny David recently published a book titled ‘How To Make Your First Million In The Real Estate Market’, which serves as a guideline to succeed in the real estate field and navigating it with the correct mindset.

David is not only an author and speaker but is also an entrepreneur. She began her entrepreneurial journey when she opened her real estate agency which showed success, making over N$1 million in rental income, developments worth over $15 million as well as submitting numerous applications for funding on behalf of her clients.

She holds a Bachelors of Computer Science in Software Development and has ventured and successfully served as a real estate agent under the guidance of reputable mentors and companies in her field.

As a real estate agent, David has received enquiries on her expertise from students, newly licensed real estate agents and parents, which has led her to notice that fear and doubt are the prominent hindrances among those just starting out.

She further mentioned that the idea of the book was birthed by a conversation she had with a young lady who was just starting out on her journey in the field and advised her to share the valuable information on bigger platforms such as a book, as this could greatly add value and change lives.

She therefore wishes that every reader of the book is encouraged to chase their destinies with confidence.

The book also addresses the perception that real estate is about overnight success and quick money. However according to David, success in real estate is based on 95% mindset, 3% strategy and 2 % hardwork. So her book is about mindset and strategy and making your first million using principles and techniques she has personally used.

She also offers consultation services for real estate agents, homeowners and struggling. Her services include market trend analysis, property valuation and guidance on long-term investment decisions. In addition, she also assists real estate agents in managing client expectations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

How to Make your First Million In The Real Estate Market is available on www.jannydavid.com for N$290, with delivery fees of N$40 in Windhoek and N$65 countrywide.

The first 100 books sold will include free delivery within Windhoek. The book is also available at Exclusive Books, Grove Mall for N$300.
