Slated for February 2015, the first ever Change and Diversity Conference to be held in Namibia attempts to break new ground and will challenge Namibians to embrace a new way of thinking.
The conference will be held to create awareness of diversity management in Namibia and the benefits thereof and to create an appetite amongst the top leadership in the country on how to craft, lead and establish a winning culture within organisations.
Organisers are targeting senior leadership in both private and public institutions. The end purpose is to encourage leaders to view diversity in a different light, to view it as a unifier that will enable Namibia’s development. Organisational theorist and management consultant, Fons Trompenaars will be the main speaker at the conference. Fons has been rated one of the world’s top 50 thinkers. Old Mutual Namibia and Simonis Storm Securities are the main sponsors.
