N$40,000 for Bible walk

Officeconomix and Homeconomix will once again be the main sponsors for this year’s Walk for Bibles in Windhoek. Each one of these sponsors gave N$20,000 for this event, making it a total of N$40,000 for their main sponsorship. This project of the Bible Society will be held in 20 towns this Saturday. All funds generated will go towards Bible translation and distribution. A 5km route has been planned in Windhoek from WAP Sports grounds. The walk will start at 7:30 and late entries can be done from 6:30. Entries for the Windhoek Walk can already be done at the Bible Shop in Independence Avenue as well as the Bible Society offices in Feld Street 34. The first 150 entries will receive a free goody bag. Entry fees are N$40 per adult and N$20 per child if done before the day, otherwise late entries are N$60 and N$30 respectively.
