Good client services are the lifeblood of any business: Client service consultant’ Erica Hengari assists a client with a payment as Sanlam Namibia Holdings officially began using a Point of Sales (POS) system at its branches.

In an effort to provide the additional convenience to its clients, Sanlam Namibia Holdings officially began using a Point of Sales (POS) system at its branches in Windhoek, Oshakati, Walvis Bay, Ondangwa and on its mobile van.
Sanlam initiated an agreement with Bank Windhoek for the purpose of accepting and processing Visa/MasterCard transactions that will enable Visa/MasterCard payments from its clients.
The POS system is also available via the Sanlam Mobile Van which travels around the country making financial services accessible to clients, especially to those in the remote areas. More POS systems will soon be installed in other Sanlam branches in Oshakati, Ondangwa and Walvis Bay.

Evans Simataa, General Manager; Corporate and Public Support said, “At Sanlam Namibia, we strongly believe that good client service is the lifeblood of any business. It is for this reason that we are always challenging ourselves to introduce new and innovative initiatives that will ensure that each time our clients come into contact with us we leave a lasting impression.”
He added, “The new payment system, just like the introduction of the service mobile van, will be beneficial to the clients as it enable swift and simple transaction when visiting Sanlam Namibia Holdings offices. Clients are now able to make their payments in one go, instead of having to make a cash deposit at the bank and return with a deposit slip. It is great services like these ones that enabled Sanlam Namibia Holdings to scoop first prize in the Service of the Year category of the just ended National Quality Awards of the Namibia Standards Institute (NSI) that took place in Windhoek.”
