BoxOffice now available to DStv Compact subscribers

BoxOffice the 24 hour movie rental service offered by MultiChoice, is now available to DStv Compact subscribers on their HD PVRs and DStv Exploras. Demand for the service triggered DStv to make the service available to a broader audience. MultiChoice said BoxOffice has become the go-to place for convenient access to the newest, hottest movies available to rent, therefore watching the latest movies no longer has to be an outing.
Roger Gertze, General Manager, MultiChoice Namibia said that making information and entertainment easily accessible and adaptive to the changing needs of their subscribers is part of their DNA and opening up BoxOffice to Compact subscribers is only a natural progression. “This is yet another demonstration of our commitment to expand our content and entertainment offering to our subscribers anytime and anywhere,” said Gertze.
“As a DStv Compact subscriber all you need is an active subscribption, including the N$60 monthly PVR functionality access fee. Then simply SMS your smartcard number to 22888, and you are ready for Hollywood to come into your home” said MultiChoice announcing the extension of their popular movie rental service.
“Renting a movie can be easily done by pressing the green button on your HD PVR remote or the BoxOffice button on your DStv Explora remote. The first movie is on the house and once you have rented a movie you have 48 hours to watch it as many times as you want.”
