Pink Day

“Breast cancer and cervical cancer are the number one and two cause of death in Namibian women and therefore we want to raise awareness and we deliver anywhere in the country,”said Ms Koegelenberg, Chief Executive Officers of The Cancer Association (CAN). As such  CAN  launched its Pink Day on 2 October at their headquarters with the theme, “Be Aware”. Pink Day will be held on 10 October and Ms Koegelenberg encouraged the public, private organisations and government organisations to support CAN by buying their shirts, bracelets, pens and bags, to name but a few items, which are all pink from them. She also encouraged the public to wear anything pink on 10 October. .
