Ondjila Y’Ondjaba Concert Agency said it recognized a gap within the Windhoek entertainment calendar and in collaboration with Free Your Mind created ‘Comedy In The House’ for stand-up comedians to come out and test their material on a partly Namibian and partly international audience at the Hilton Kalabar.
Next on the show are three young but already highly popular comedians from the Free Your Mind circuit. Courage, who has presented a solo show at the Warehouse Theatre recently, Chiro, winner of the Last Comic Standing 2013 and Lifa, a natural new kid on the block. Courage hails from Zimbabwe and naturally looks at life through the eyes of the people of our neighbouring country. He morphed into a professor of comedy at his recent solo show at the Warehouse Theatre and had the audience splitting their sides.
Chiro has become an established comedian since his teachers in high school advised him to tell jokes for a living. Now he is making serious money, still cracking jokes. Lifa said he was introduced to humor by life itself.

Comedy In The House is a regular monthly event on the last Friday of the month and the second editon takes place on 26 September at Hilton Kalabar. The show starts at 20:00 and the organisers have advised to come at least half an hour early for a good seat. Entrance is free and everybody is welcome. People interested in more information can call Ernst Herman at 081 122 3709 or Ndemufayo Kaxuguena at 081 415 7409.
D Jay Mzoe plays the latest house music before, in between and after the individual performance slots.
