Flower power starts jubilant spring

Julie, Evelyn and Frieda joined the hundreds of late-season tourists flocking to the Tintenpalast gardens where spring has arrived in all its glory. This weekend marks the shift from winter to summer time, reverting to GMT + 2 during Saturday night. Namibia may be arid but her beauty is one to behold, as the quote by Pablo Neruda reads, “You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.” The extravagant new spring colours can be seen all around the city.
