The overall winners in last weekend’s Claratal/Gymkhana Club Eventing Tournament are in the Children Class that included: Sheena Duerr on Duneside Kiera, Pre-Novice Class: 1st Alexandra Roehl on Alpha So Cool, 2nd Ruth Lowe on Duneside Leading Lady and 3rd Sonja Kessler on Bodenhausen Rialto.
Another class that had top honours at the tourney was the Intermediate Class which saw Franziska Leinberger on Adcon Camelot conquer the class.
Those were the overall winners at the Claratal/Gymkhana Club Eventing Tournament which took place last weekend at the Gymkhana Club Windhoek and the Claratal Stud.
The dressage and the show jumping phases were held at the grounds of the Gymkhana Club Windhoek on Saturday, while the Cross Country event was held at the Claratal Stud Farm in the Khomas Hochland approximately 40km West of Windhoek.
There was a large number of spectators and everyone expressed their appreciation for the beauty and standard of the eventing course that was built.
What made this such a spectacular event was the closeness of cross country riding and obstacles to natural veld conditions.

Meanwhile the Namibian Equestrian Federation has been receiving yearly sponsorships from FNB Namibia for more than 10 years and on 23 July, FNB Namibia renewed this commitment and has pledged an amount of N$45,000.00 for the next 2 years.
