Agra gives to society

Agra recently issued its fifth comprehensive social report, confirming that it is an integral part of society, honouring the triple bottom line of people, planet and profit. In the 2010/2011 financial year, Agra invested more than N$1 million through sponsorships, social projects, charitable events and development of staff.  
Agra’s professional services division contributed largely to investing in the agricultural community through training and development of the agricultural sector. More than 460 farmers received valuable information on animal health issues, lick supplementation and swakara farming through Agra’s public lectures which were presented in all the regions of the country.
Organised agriculture, which plays an important role in facing the challenges of agricultural production and sustainability, enjoyed support from Agra through sponsorships, donations and involvement in programs and initiatives.
