House Acacia receives new stove

HomeHouse Acacia, an interim house of the Cancer Association of Namibia this week received a brand new Defy stove worth N$10 000 from furniture store, Home Corp in Windhoek. The donation forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative. House Acacia accommodates cancer patients from outside Windhoek who stay for free at the facility while they undergo treatment. Patients receive three meals per day and are transported to and from the Dr AB May Cancer Care centre and Windhoek Central Hospital.
