Share as sisters or fail as fools

The Economist Businesswomen Club recently held its exciting, informative networking breakfast with Monica Kalondo, Managing Director of Stimulus Equity as guest speaker at the Hilton Hotel. Kalondos topic was “Things I wish Somebody told me Earlier”. In her presentation she emphasised that women need to learn to share as sisters or fail as fools. Kalondo also advised the women not to be rude or ignore people they deem unimportant, not to steal the ideas of others, not to tolerate incompetent and to say if you do not know something and show eagerness to learn. The Club through planned networking aims to encourage the personal development and management skills of its members and to advance the standing and power of women. All proceeds go towards the Economist Businesswomen Bursary fund.
