Tennis tourney set to thrill

The Pro Tennis Academy will host its fifth tournament of the PTA Tennis Series this weekend.
This will be just two weeks after the last event, which saw some major upsets, the organizers are confident that this weekend will see the same quality unfold.
The tournament is scheduled to go underway tomorrow and continue on Saturday, on the tennis fields of the Windhoek High School (WHS).
In the Mini category, Stefan Weitz claimed his first win of the season at the last event. He is considered to be one of the hot favourites, while Maluci Namwandi and Sakaria Kamukmanyama are certainly able to give Weitz a run for his money.
In other action, Mike Kambonde will be eager to prove that he left nothing to chance when he took top honour in the Midi category for the first time two weeks ago. He will, however, have to bring his A game as the pair of Adam Diggle and Beyonce Boois.

Meanwhile Randel Kavandje is set to continue his dominance in the Beginners division.
The talented youngster from Windhoek clinched the first place in this division for the fourth time in a row already two weeks ago, making him the overwhelming favourite to win his division.
At this tournament all participants once again collected points for the PTA Tennis Ranking. Throughout the series, players accumulate ranking points on a 12 month rolling basis with great prizes for the overall winners at the end of the year.
