SADC ministers mapped road for Congo

Namibia dispatched its Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and her senior staff members to Luanda earlier this week where the Angolan government convened a SADC ministers’ meeting in its capacity as Chair of the International Conference of the Great Lakes Region. The meeting was also attended by SADC Executive Secretary, Stergomena Lawrence Tax. The ministers met to consider the political and security situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo following the surrender of the M23 and the beginning of a process of voluntary disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration.
