MultiChoice Namibia promotes One Africa

Viewers will be able to watch and enjoy One Africa Television on channel 284 on DStv following the recent launch by MultiChoice Namibia earlier this week. Madryn Cosburn, Interim Managing Director of One Africa Television, said, there was a great deal of prestige associated with being available on a service alongside some of the best television channels available and that he was humbled to be there as it is the result of the tireless dedication and hard work of a small team of amazing Namibians. Cosburn thanked MultiChoice Namibia on behalf of the One Africa staff and general television viewing public, for their ongoing support of the local broadcasting industry.

Roger Gertze, General Manager of MultiChoice Namibia welcomed One Africa Television to the Direct to Home (DTH) platform and that success, achievement and growth will continue to be celebrated in the continent. He said that One Africa Television was already available on their digital Terrestrial Television platform on GOtv since its inception in July 2012 and MultiChoice Namibia is proud to be associated with One Africa Television as it now offers viewers digital quality entertainment. One Africa Television has been providing a free analogue broadcast service to urban viewers in the country for more than 10 years. The channel provides quality programming and relevant local and international news to local viewers, entertainment and infotainment. One Africa Television caters to a primarily youthful urban audience, while still keeping it national with programming topics and themes for all people. The One Africa Television channel will be available on DStv’s Premium, Compact, Family and Access bouquets.
