Stars, Pirates match resumes

The Namibia Premier League announced late this week that a decision has been reached in the matter regarding the match between FNB Orlando Pirates and African Stars which was played on the night of 16th April 2014.
The match was abandoned due to a power outage that affected the entire Katutura East constituency.

Subsequent to the match reports submitted by the Referee, the Match Commissioner and letters from FNB Orlando Pirates and African Stars pertaining to this matter, the Management Committee has taken a resolution as per NFA Rules and Regulations 10.6 and 10.12, the remaining minutes of the match as per the referee report will be resumed and it will be a continuation of the abandoned match, to comply with the aforesaid regulations forthwith.
The match is scheduled to resume on 6 May 2014 at 19:00 at Sam Nujoma Stadium. All the other logistical arrangements will be communicated soon pertaining to the match.
