The much awaited Season 4 of Game of Thrones is almost here.

The Emmy Award winning drama series Game of Thrones returns to DStv’s M-Net, channel 101 on 18 April. As a special treat to fans of the series, as well as those DStv viewers who have not watched the series from the start, M-Net also screened two exclusive one hour specials on the channel.
The exclusive Game of Thrones specials took viewers on a journey through the major events in the series to date.They explained how all the families and characters have developed and also showed in detail how the different locations in different countries have challenged the actors and producers.

Game of Thrones is based on the bestselling fantasy book series of the same name by George R.R. Martin, it is an epic story of treachery and nobility set on the continent of Westeros, where summers and winters can last years and only the lust for power is eternal.
Game of Thrones was shot in seven countries, Northern Island, Croatia, Morocco, Malta, Iceland, Scotland and USA, on any given day there can be two directors based in two different locations shooting two different episodes in two different countries. It includes approximately 100 locations, 3000 costumes, 4000 props, 257 cast members, 703 crew members and 87 014 visual effects and it is showing no signs of slowing down.
Game of Thrones will be screened on Dstv’s M-Net, channel 101, Friday 18 April, 21:30, CAT.
