United Africa appoints new Group CEO

United Africa Group (Pty) Ltd. was founded in 1992 by Haddis Tilahun and was later joined by the Group Chairperson Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun. Effective as from 01 April, Brian Rubenstein took over as chairperson of the Group Executive Committee of the United Africa Group. He will manage this responsibility from Johannesburg, South Africa. United Africa Group appointed Mr Willem Mouton as Group Chief Executive Officer. Mouton possesses a sound understanding of the vision and strategies of the United Africa Group, having previously served as Operations Manager and Group Finance and Admin Manager from 2002 to 2010. Mouton holds an Accounting and Finance qualification in conjunction with an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch. He brings with him strong financial and fund-management skills. Haddis and Martha expressed their gratitude to Mr Brian Rubenstein who served the Group with excellence and great distinction. Mr Tilahun, in welcoming Willem Mouton, stated that United Africa remains committed to highlight the need to work with dynamic young professionals who are creative and who are in line with global financial and business principals.
