Fistball action resumes

Sporting enthusiasts can look forward to fistball action this weekend when the SKW Fistball Fields become a battlefield.
SKW 2 will be hoping to edge out SKW 1 on top the log but will have to beat Cohen FC 1 who are in second place. Cohen FC are one of the championship hopefuls and have shown good early-season form. SFC 1 battle it out against Cohen FC 2. SFC 1 won the previous encounter between the two, and both teams are expected to field full strength squads.

Cohen FC3 have their eyes set on topping the Bank Windhoek National B-league and are 6 points clear of second-placed SFC 2 and DTS after only four games of the season. SKW 3 and DTS face a rampant Cohen FC3 side, eager to put on a fine display. SFC2 have managed to put in a fine display despite not having a full-strength team available and will attempt to take home as many points as possible to stay second on the log. At the bottom of the log, Cohen FC 4 will be hoping for a change in fortune when they take on SKW 3 in an effort to swap places. This will be the last time the players of the U18 national team will be in action before departing to Brazil. The team led by coach Andreas Minz will participate at the U18 Fistball World Championship, where they will play teams from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
The games begin at 08:00.
