Funds for UNAM Keetmans campus

Bidvest Namibia donated N$300,000 to the University of Namibia for the establishment of the Keetmanshoop campus. The donation during a courtesy visit of Bidvest Namibia CEO, Sebby Kankondi to the President, His Excellency Hifikepunye Pohamba. 

Sharing in this major donation are from the left, Theresa Weitz (FD Bidvest Namibia), Piet Steyn (Bidvest Namibia, Non-Executive Director), Martina Kebitsemang Mokgatle-Aukhumes ( Bidvest Namibia, Non-Executive director), Sebby Kankondi (CEO, Bidvest Namibia), President Pohamba, Martin Shipanga (Bidvest Namibia, Non-Executive Director), Theo Mberirua ( Bidvest Namibia, Director) and Jan Arnold (Managing Director, Bidvest Namibia Fisheries Holdings). This year, Bidvest Namibia allocated N$1,8 million for bursaries to 25 young Namibians eager to further their education. Educational assistance also comprises scholarships and assistance to schools. The contribution to education since 1995 amounts to more than N$28 million.
