eWallet hugely popular

Gloating over the tremendous success of their eWallet product, FNB’s Manager of Cellphone Banking, Desery van Wyk said this week there are now more than 266,000 eWallet account in Namibia. This milestone has been achieved a mere 16 months since it was launched in October 2012. She said “Customers can buy airtime and electricity, send money to someone with a bank account or anyone who does not have a bank account and money can be withdrawn at any of the 214 ATM’s in Namibia via eWallet, adding that the money is available immediately.
