Bank Windhoek has donated N$60,000 to the Beautiful Kidz’ Anusa Project, to help it realise its goal of becoming self-sustainable and less reliant on donations. The funds will be used to purchase equipment and stock.
Anusa is a school uniform sewing project under Beautiful Kidz, which was established in 2011, to provide training and employment to unemployed women. It produces and sells school wear to various schools in Katutura.
“The organisation is well on its way to become self-reliant, although it may still take some time as it is not easy. We therefore, still need support from institutions like Bank Windhoek to reach our goal of not only becoming self-sustainable, but also empowering women through job provision and skills training. Bank Windhoek has been one of our biggest sponsors and we are grateful for their continued support,” said Jennieke Bolier, Project Manager of Anusa.

“As pointed out in the past, Bank Windhoek’s approach to funding is focused towards forming close working partnerships with the beneficiaries of our Corporate Social Investment Fund.
Bank Windhoek is proud to be associated with the Anusa Project, which should be commended for their efforts to achieve their goal of becoming financially independent”, said Riaan van Rooyen, Head: Corporate Communication and Social Investment.
