Germany donates soccer equipment to Otjozondjupa

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Namibia last week handed over soccer equipment to the regional football league of the Otjozondjupa Region in Okakarara. The content of the donation was soccer equipment (field player and goal keeper kits, soccer balls) for 20 teams that take part in the league. Attending the event was Mrs.

Wall, who handed over the donation as a representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Namibia, as well as the Regional Councillor for Otjozondjupa, Mr Kandorozu and the Deputy Mayor of Okakarara, Mrs Kahipura. The Federal Foreign Office supports the project of the German Embassy in line with its overseas sports promotion in order to help the establishment of ground- level participatory sports and sports infrastructure in Namibia.
