Will you audit the village council books?

Audit and business advisory firm, Ernst & Young Namibia, undertook last year to support two villages in Oshana and Ohangwena with food and groceries to alleviate the impact of the drought in the northern regions. Uukango village and Okatunduya village were identified as most in need, whereafter an agreement was reached with Woermann Brock to assist their auditor with this noble gesture. Last week, managing partner Gerhard Fourie, and his Personal Assistant, Mirna Koekemoer (third from right) visited the two villages to see how the beneficiaries are doing. They were accompanied by Peter Elindi, an E&Y alumnis, on their village rounds.
