Frieda launches her album
Frieda Haindaka going all out at her debut album launch in Otjiwarongo.
Her album”Just Frieda” was released in November 2013 and it has made its mark in the music industry as one of the bestselling albums at the moment.
The album was launched at Virmos Bar, one of the popular entertainment bars in Otjiwarongo. At least about 250 people showed up and they were ecstatic about her performance as they kept dancing along to the great hits she performed.
She shared the stage with RnB singer Bethold and Oviritje star Diop. After the show, Virmos Bar manager, Mr Carlito said the show was very successful and he is scouting for more stars to bring to his bar.
Frieda said she loves Otjiwarongo and its people because they are very supportive of local artists and she was truly happy for the love they showed her. She also thanked the management of Virmos Bar for the opportunity to perform there and her supporting acts, Bethold and Diop.
She said she will not miss an opportunity to go back to Otjiwarongo to perform for her fans.
Frieda made her solo career official by signing a two-year contract with local recording label, Deal Done Records.
