Cancer children enjoy summer fruit
Rodney is part of a group of children with cancer who were treated to a real summer watermelon feast late in December. The day was marked by lots of joy and plenty of laughter. Organised by the Cancer Association to enable young cancer patients to lead a life as normal as possible, the watermelon afternoon to place at 8 West, the hospital wing where all young cancer patients are treated. The nursing sisters of 8 West helped the Cancer Association to make the day a memorable event for the children.
