NBL Managing Director, Wessie van der Westhuizen and NBL National Marketing Manager, Rosemary Shippiki wish Namibians and visitors to our country a safe and pleasant festive season.

The holiday season is in full swing and the national roads have already experienced an increase in traffic as people are leaving for their holiday destinations.
Wessie van der Westhuizen, Managing Director of Namibia Breweries Limited appealed to all  Namibians to enjoy the festive season, remain vigilant and adhere to traffic rules at all times.

“Most people enjoy quality time with family and friends and nothing is more devastating than losing a loved one on the road because of reckless driving, overtaking, speeding or drunken driving,” said van der Westhuizen.
Van der Westhuizen further advised that both motorists and pedestrians should be on the look-out for each other, stay within the required speed limits and remain cautious at all times.
He concluded by urging everyone to save lives by making use of the following road safety numbers: To report an accident – 081 9628 (toll free) hosted by MVA; or to report reckless driving, speeding, overtaking, drunk-driving, or any other offence on our public roads, please call +264 61 222888 (this is not a toll free number).
