NGO receives Finnish funding

The Finnish embassy donated N$2.2 million to the Desert Research Foundation of Namibia for a one year project. The project which is part of the Fund for Local Cooperation will be under the administration of the Embassy of Finland and is aimed at improving water and sanitation services in the country. The fund signing agreement took place at the Embassy of Finland on 24 January.
