Extra oomph in Shell Diesel Extra

Swakopmund – Vivo Energy Namibia, the downstream company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants, last week launched an exciting Shell Diesel Extra promotional campaign in which customers stand a chance to win a Toyota Land Cruiser.
As one of the most popular local off-road vehicles, the Land Cruiser brings gravity to the Shell  promotional campaign which showcases Shell Diesel Extra. The campaign is running for three  months, having started last week Friday and continuing until 28 February 2014.

The first set of prizes will be quad bikes and the winning entries will be drawn on 06 January 2014. The second draw takes place on 03 February and the prizes up for grabs are iPads and iPhones. The main prize will be drawn on 03 March and the lucky winner will drive away with a Toyota Land Cruiser to the value of N$500,000.
To be in the race for a chance to win any of these amazing prizes shoppers only have to make a minimum purchase of N$50 at any Shell Select/Shop or buy N$35 worth of lubricants.
At the launch Shell said its “Diesel Extra is a premier fuel brand that is formulated with corrosion inhibitors that create a protective layer over vital engine parts and prevents rusting, thus helping to keep your engine clean as you drive.”
Speaking at the launch, Johan Grobbelaar, Vivo Energy Namibia Managing Director said: “We are passionate about giving motorists more value for their money which is why Shell’s Diesel Extra help drivers achieve “extra” kilometres and “extra” hours at no extra cost.”
He said Shell Diesel Extra is a diesel fuel with a unique formulation designed to give engines extra protection at no extra cost. It also keeps engines clean from harmful deposits that are a by-product of the gasoline burning process.
Vivo Energy Namibia, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, was established in 1975. The Shell brand has been in Namibia for 38 years.
