New Hope Village bus

Happy Hope Village children tumbling from their brand-new bus donated by Standard Bank and Liberty Life. The new Fiat Ducato Bus purchased from Spes Bona Motors was officially handed over to the Hope Village Trust this week. The Trust is one of Standard Bank Namibia’s corporate social investment projects.

“As a good corporate citizen, we always see the need to invest in Hope Village to make a positive difference in the lives of children. We believe the much bigger 19-seater bus will be more convenient in transporting the children to and from school and also for the organisation’s programmes and activities,” said the bank’s Head of Marketing Thaddius Maswahu. Managing Director of Liberty Life Namibia, Christell Loots said the sponsorship is a kind gesture to make a difference in the lives of Namibian children.  The previous bus has become dilapidated. The new bus cost N$365,000.
