Two Teenager of to Thailand and US

DHPS pupils win at TRUSTCO talent contest
Yana Haenisch fourth runner up at Face of Beauty Competition 2013.
Two grade 10 senior secondary students of DHPS, Yana Haenisch and Almut Voigts, have successfully participated in Trustco’s Miss Teenager Namibia Starperformer Competition. The two  are the Namibian participants at further pageants in Thailand and the USA.

Yana Haenisch won in the local Face of Beauty and has already travelled to Bangkok, Thailand earlier this month to represent Namibia at the Face of Beauty International pageant. Out of 39 contestants, Yana is the fourth runner-up after the winner Diamond Langi from Tonga, Li Mi from Bangladesh, Shasha Chen from China and Fonthip Klinpakdee from Thailand.
Almut Voigts will go West to the USA. She said “holiday fun was my initial thought when I decided to participate, little did I know about this fantastic opportunity.” As one of the winners of the „Runway-modelling competition” Almut will represent Namibia from 15 to 25 December 2013 in Orlando, Florida at the Rising Talent show.
