NCCI visits Zim for trade

The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry has led a powerful business delegation to Zimbabwe in search of more investment and trade opportunities in that country. Zimbabwe is one of the countries on the NCCI priority list in the SADC region on which the chamber is focusing its trade promotion activities at regional level. “The NCCI believes that Zimbabwe offers numerous opportunities in various economic sectors which Namibian businesses can take advantage of. Having held peaceful, democratic Presidential and Parliamentary elections just two months ago, Zimbabwe is set to reclaim its position as a regional economic powerhouse. We expect businesses from all over the world to set their eyes on Zimbabwe and to grab opportunities created by the improved political and economic climate and we do not want Namibian businesses to be left out”, said NCCI CEO, Tarah Shaanika.
