During the just ended 10th Adventure Travel World Summit, Namibia received high praises for its continued efforst of taking care of its people by providing incentives through community conservation. “You have a destination that is unspoiled, these delegates will be the ones that will bring the (tourism) industry further, relationships will be build, knowledge will be exchanged and lessons learnt from Namibia’s experience,” said Shannon Stowell, president of the Adventure Travel Trade Association. Namibia is rated as one of the fastest growing countries in the adventure tourism industry, with the industry being one of the biggest employment creators in the country.
