Yambu Life Cycle Mountain Bike Challenge

Trustco Life Ltd will host the Yambu Life Cycle MTB Challenge on Saturday 16th November at Iitumba, just south-east of the Windhoek Country Club Resort.
This challenge promises to be the cycling event of the year.
Trustco Life Ltd is offering a total amount of N$ 200 000 in prize money for all the categories, the largest prize purse to be offered in Namibia for a cycling event.
Trustco Life Ltd, through its Yambu Life product’s philosophy of rewarding health, has found a fitting partner in cycling, a sport that promotes physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
Iitumba is an ideal venue for this event as it offers beautiful natural sights and various species of wildlife.
The venue is secluded from public roads and participants will thus focus their undivided attention on the cycling challenge without the hassles of heavy traffic.
Live entertainment, a large beer tent, food outlets and live video footage of the activities on giant screens promise loads of fun and entertainment, for cyclists and the public alike.
There will also be an all-inclusive kiddies entertainment corner which will take care of the children while parents enjoy themselves.
There will be a variety of courses catering for all riders including a 12km Fun ride, a 25km intermediate course and an endurance testing 50 kilometre track destined to challenge the most advanced riders.
The courses are 85% jeep-track, designed to test the rider’s technical ability and fitness levels.
The race is open to all ages, from beginner level and energetic youngsters up to advanced level and the not-so-young but young at heart cyclists.
