It is slightly less than a month since Graeme Mouton was appointed as the new Financial Director of Namibia Breweries Limited but already he says he is inspired by the O&L Purpose “Creating a future, enhancing life.”
Mouton replaced Bruce Kidner, who had served NBL as Financial Director on secondment from Diageo for five-and-a half-years. The O&L mother ship said Mouton has been groomed for the position of Financial Director, over a number of years, in line with the O&L Group’s value, ‘We grow people’.
Mouton started his articles in 2001 at Deloitte where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked as an audit manager, before joining the O&L Group in 2005 as a Finance Manager at the O&L Centre.
At the end of 2007, he was seconded to work as a Management Accountant at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited in Accra – a Diageo subsidiary – for 19 months before returning to Namibia in the role as Strategic Planning & Decision Support Manager at NBL.  In January 2011, he joined Model Pick ’n Pay as Financial Director; and returned to NBL as Head of Finance on 01 July 2013.
Mouton said “I would like to thank everybody for their support, Bruce Kidner for his mentorship and coaching, my colleagues and the management in the O&L Group, and in particular the Board, for the trust and confidence they have bestowed upon me by appointing me.
