Annette Künzle, on Rostock Ritz Rolling Thunder, won the Bank Windhoek Six Bar Show Jumping event, which took place at the Windhoek Show Grounds on Saturday, 28 September, amid a cheering and excited crowd. She was followed by her daughter, Michelle Künzle on Caskari. Michelle was one of the joint winners in last year’s Bank Windhoek Six Bar Show Jumping event, together with Charl Kotze. Eight horses and riders competed in a six obstacle course, which started at a height of 1.00 metre and ended at 1.5 metres. The event was well attended by a huge crowd that cheered on the riders as they negotiated the higher obstacles. “Bank Windhoek prides itself in sponsoring small sport codes, such as this Show Jumping event to promote and increase participation in the sport. The event was a success and we hope that many more sponsors would come on board to help grow the sport to become bigger and better next year,” said Toivo Mvula, Communication Practitioner at Bank Windhoek. Bank Windhoek sponsored the event with N$10 000. Feedmaster co-sponsored the event.
