Despite pressure on prices and on customers, Bank Windhoek has announced an increase in free life cover on three of its savings products effective from 1 September. The increase of N$4 000 to N$ 5 000 in life cover benefit is applicable to the EasySave-, Vibe- and Transactional accounts, for individuals.
The free life cover is an automatic benefit for all clients holding one of the three savings products and is payable, upon the passing on of the account holder, to his or her beneficiaries. The EasySave account is a basic banking account for individuals earning N$2000 or less per month, while the Vibe account is for tertiary students who are 18 years and older, but not older than 30 years. The Transactional Account is an account for low to medium income earners.
“With the increase in the free life cover, Bank Windhoek has made banking a more rewarding experience for its clients by assuring our clients that their families, or beneficiaries, will have a little more to go by after their passing” said Danie von Solms, Manager of Bancassurance at Bank Windhoek.
