GIPF appoints trustee, promotes Nashilongo

The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) this week announced that its Board of Trustees have re-elected Advocate Ellaine Samson to serve GIPF as chairperson for another term of office at its meeting on 01 August. In terms of the Rules of the Fund, a chairperson of the Board of Trustees term of office is one year with an option for re-election by fellow trustees. Advocate Samson’s re-appointment is effective as of 16 August 2013 until 15 August 2014.

The fund also confirmed the promotion of Elvis Nashilongo to General Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communication effective as of 01 July 2013. Nashilongo previously held the position of Manager: Corporate Communications and Public Relations.
