Blue Bank adds more partners to PayPulse to expand mobile payment platform

Standard Bank this week announced that it has added Liberty Life, Olusheno and MTC Data to its bouquet of partners on its Cardless Transaction Application, PayPulse, as part of the strategy to offer variety and enhance the mobile payment experience for partners and customers.

With the addition of the three partners, customers are now able to pay their Liberty Life insurance premiums, as well as pay for the off-grid home lighting Olusheno kit and MTC Data using the convenience of PayPulse.

Locally, PayPulse has been at the forefront of providing convenience to customers in the way they buy and pay for services and goods.

The latest addition of partners is part of the quest to position PayPulse as the easiest and most convenient mobile payment platform that is accessible through a cellphone and therefore a customer does not need to have a bank account or be a Standard Bank customer to enjoy the conveniences offered by PayPulse.

Standard Bank’s Head of Digital Transformation, Rejoice Itembu said the bank is determined to continue updating and improving the PayPulse capabilities while pursuing advanced customer experiences.

Adding new partners and users on our PayPulse platform is testimony of the user-friendliness that it offers, she added also noting that it has become a real enabler for families who are now able to pay for airtime, food, fuel, fast food, electricity, and many more on PayPulse.

“Innovation is what drives us, and at the core of this delivery is customer centricity bearing in mind the impact of COVID-19 and the opportunities presented through PayPulse to enhance customer convenience. PayPulse provides the perfect and most secure pay-from-home option. We will also continue to add new service providers and enhance the capabilities as we cement our leadership position in mobile payments,” said Itembu.

In addition to paying for goods and services at retailers and other service providers, PayPulse can also be used to send and receive money without the need to have a bank account number.

PayPulse also enables customers to instantly cash out their money at the till of any prominent supermarket while also enabling them to top up on electricity and airtime and pay for bills such as your DStv/GOtv accounts.

Transactions on PayPulse, can be performed from mobile phones by simply downloading the App on the App Store/Google Play) or by dialing *140*6626# and following the required steps to buy or pay for the desired service or product.
