The Bank Windhoek Schools Netball Super League continued last week in four towns of Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Otjiwarongo and Stampriet.
In the two matches played in Windhoek, Edugate played against Windhoek High School and lost the match 33-12, while Agri College played against Windhoek Gymnasium and lost 64-24.
Windhoek Afrikaans Private played three matches in Otjiwarongo last weekend. In very closely contested matches, they beat Edugate and Agri College, 23:18 and 29:24 respectively. The girls from Windhoek Afrikaans Private put on an impressive display of attacks and goal shots to win their matches, but failed to keep the momentum against Tsumeb Gymnasium, who defeated them, 19-40. They now hold the sixth position on the league standing.
In the matches played in Walvis Bay, Walvis Bay Private High School defeated Dr. Lemmer High School 58-17, but their victory was overshadowed by the loss in their match against current log leaders, Windhoek Gymnasium, 44-18.
Elnatan won their match against Windhoek High School 37-28 in Stampriet, but did not have an easy victory as the Windhoek High School girls fought hard during the match.
