Dandy employer

Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb and the local branch of the Mineworkers Union signed a three-year wage agreement last week. The agreement generally makes provision for 8% increases across the board regardless of profits. Dundee Precious is the third operator to try and make the smelter work. It has gone bust twice before reducing the number of employees from over 3000 to just 800.
