Rock fans can look forward to a night of the best rock music the country has to offer when Famaz Attak performs at the Warehouse Theatre this Friday evening. Since the award winning rock band emerged on the Namibian music scene in March 2010, it has had meteoric rise to stardom. Famaz Attak pronounced “Famous Attack or Farmer’s Attack” is a blend of a live energetic stance and crazy rock n’ roll antics that will and already has contributed to the Namibian music industry. The group performs with surprise guest performers and will also launch the video for their song ‘Tales of the Camelthorn Tree’. Having shared the stage with South African legends like Just Ginger, Arno Carstens, Prime Circle, Goldfish, Kurt Darren and played at the Oppikoppi 2011 in South Africa, their work has now progressed to the level where the band commands their own space.

This band is set to promote good party vibes and hope to inspire, esmerize and uplift the crowd at their live performances.  Famaz Attak has played at shows and events all around the country. In November 2010 they recorded their first full-length album in Johannesburg entitled “Famazuiticles”, filmed the music videos for “Drummer Boy”, ”Pirates” and “First Song”, and did a collaboration with Namibian Kwaito artist EES. They were  nominated at the 2011 and 2012 Namibian Music Awards and won Best Rock/Alternative award in 2012, and reached NTN’s 2012 Battle of the Bands finals in 4th place. Be sure to join Rene T on lead vocals and guitar, E-line on lead guitar and vocals, Drummer Boy on the drums and Space Monkey on bass and vocals at the Warehouse Theatre and get a surprise treat. This is definitely not a show to miss. The show starts at 19 30. Tickets are N$50.
