Windhoek lager ambassadors celebrated

Seven 2013 Windhoek Lager Ambassadors were recognised and celebrated at a glittering gala event on 20 June in the capital where The Right Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Hage Geingob was the key note speaker. The 2013 Windhoek Lager Ambassador, an initiative by Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) – a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group of Companies, has been running since October 2012, with 21 finalists having been chosen from more than 200 nominations.  Winners were chosen from the categories of education; community; sports; health, science & technology; business; conservation; and the arts. The winners were- Education – Hilma Kapewasha; Community – Selma Sackaria; Sport – Johanna Benson; H,S & T – Gladys Kahaka; Business – Ben Hauwanga; Conservation – Sakaria Shilyomunhu and for the Arts – Hem Matsi.
