Hollard announces 20% premium reduction to all motor vehicle policyholders this month

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic Hollard Namibia has announced a 20% premium reduction to all their motor vehicle policyholders for the month of May, aimed to assist and provide much needed support to their clientèle through these testing times.

Chief Executive Officer of Hollard Namibia, Jaco Lamprecht said decision is made jointly to provide financial relief to their loyal clients during the lock-down period, to treat their customers fairly as a reduced motor risk is anticipated during the lock-down period due to the current travel restrictions.

Explaining the 20% Motor Premium Discount, Lamprecht, said it is a once-off discount on the motor portion of the premium for the month of May.

“All existing Hollard policyholders qualify for this benefit, regardless of the type of product, the discount will not affect the policyholder’s cover in any way and the discount is automatic with no action needed from the broker, agent or client,” he said.

“The combined monetary COVID-19 relief that we have provided to our existing clients in Namibia now equates to more than N$10 million and economic sustainability for all, is of paramount importance to us,” he added.
