Annual music awards postponed indefinitely

As a result of the extension of the lockdown till 4 May, by HE Dr Hage Geingob, the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA) which were scheduled for 2 Mayhave now indefinitely been postponed.

NAMA Executive Chairperson Tim Ekandjo,in a statement this week said a new date will only be announced once the lockdown has officially been lifted.

Meanwhile, Ekandjo urged Namibians and artists to adhere to the lockdown rules and lead by example as the country battles the pandemic.
