Walvis homeless in line for blankets

These staff members of Standard Bank’s Walvis Bay branch are clubbing together to buy blankets for the homeless in Walvis Bay to see them through the second half of the winter. The branch’s Winter Blanket Drive depends on contributions by staff members as well as charitable individuals. “With the winter cold moving in on us, it is fitting that we support the under-privileged members of our community by collecting and donating blankets,” said Delmund Etienne Louw, Property Valuer at the Standard Bank Walvis Bay branch. He said all staff members at the branch are donating money which they will use to purchase blankets and deliver to homeless families. The branch staff asked all residents of Walvis Bay to support the Winter Blanket Drive by donating blankets. Donations can be delivered at the branch.
