Classic Clashes brings exciting sporting action

The Kuisebmond and Mondesa sport fields were alive with soccer action this past weekend, 22 June, as the FNB classic clashes continue to headline the sporting arena. Kuisebmond Secondary School and SI Gobs Secondary School met at the Kuisebmond fields while West Side High and Kolin Foundation battled it out at Mondesa.
Host school Kuisebmond Secondary School were victorious with 2:0 over SI Gobs with Ananias Haitembi and Annanias Kleopas scoring the two goals of the match. Thomas David, also of Kuisebmond Secondary School was named Namib Mills hero while striker Gregory Karita of the same school was named FNB Classic Clash Man of the match. This game proved exciting albeit the   domination of the Kuisebmond Secondary School in ball possesion and skill play.
The Kolin Foundation was also victorious with 2:0 win over West Side High with Ivory Hoaeb and Wireless Ochurub scoring the two goals. Kolen Foundation dominated the entire first half and got an early lead. Namib Mills Hero was Lorato Thekwane (academics, chess and cheerleading) and FNB Classic Clash Man of the Match Midfielder Keanu van Vyk are both from West Side High.
This weekend, 29 June, Netball and Rugby will be in action in Otjiwarongo and Outjo respectively.
