The National Housing Enterprise will continue to be your development partner” he said.NHE said it takes note of the fact that Regional Councils and Local Authorities are key stakeholders in the delivery of housing. The Lüderitz Town Council has always been co-operative with NHE in availing land for the delivery of housing in Lüderitz. The partnership between NHE and the Lüderitz Town Council has continued to deliver value for the people of Lüderitz. To date, NHE has constructed more than 230 houses in Lüderitz. “NHE’s engagement and sponsorship of the Crayfish Festival is once more proof of its commitment to the development of Lüderitz and the Karas region at large.”NHE recently completed the second phase of its housing projects in Keetmanshoop. This project consists of 100 housing units. Titus said NHE is pleased to announce the implementation of a new housing project in Lüderitz which will consist of 79 housing units. The project is planned to commence on 01 July this year and the first houses should be completed by the end of the year.NHE is not a profit driven organization but is service driven. As a result, NHE houses are competitively priced at about 30% below the private sector prices. NHE’s interest rate is also 1% below the prime lending rate.
